Beau Chene Subdivision's "Beautiful Oak" Magazine Article - July, 2014

Continuing with our Pools and Patios feature this month, we would like to thank Deira and Stuart Ethridge of West Ruelle for sharing their backyard with us.

With the help of architect Matthew Voclkel of Studio MV Designs, the Ethridges recently transformed their backyard into an inviting oasis with a Mediterranean feel. Olive trees in large pots flank the beautifully understated pool, which is complete with a sleek waterfall and lounging area ercated by Mike Stanton with Ousis Pools./The flagstone decking, by Mark Stanton, creates a continuous natural feel throughout this outdoor living space. The pool area has a spa-like setting and offers a serene and peaceful backdrop while relaxing on the sofas by the oversized white stucco fireplace. The covered patio is anchored with large square posts and piped with copper gutters; it houses plenty of comfy seating, ceiling fans, and a flat screen TV. The grill, bar,r and dining area opposite the fireplace is sure to become favoritete place for the Ethridges to entertain friends and family. The newly installed landscaping, by Brian Humphries, outlines the space and softens its edges while continuing with the Mediterranean theme by including guava trees and other foliage native 10 that area.
